A Time To Train

In addition to the building projects we are involved with around the world, God has also laid on our hearts to help train and equip pastors in various countries. We do this through conferences specifically geared towards these men and women of God. It is hard to convey how impactful these conferences have been. Most of those who attend have received little, if any, formal training. Many of them are from small villages where they pastor the only Christian church in the area. When you ask them how they became a pastor, the stories are almost always the same. It goes something like this, "A national evangelist came to my village and preached the gospel. Over time, I accepted Jesus as my personal savior along with a few other people in my area. After a short time, the evangelist needed to move to another village to spread the gospel so he helped us set-up a local church government. I felt a stirring in my heart and when the evangelist asked me if I would be the pastor, I said, Yes!"

Whether it is a one-day or multi-day conference, our goal is to not only teach these front line heroes something they can take back to their congregations but to encourage them to go on. Many come to us beaten down, discouraged and ready to give up. Our goal is to love on them, encourage them and send them back to their church ready to fulfill their destiny.
