Ghana Conference

2008

On September 1, 2008, Jerry boarded a plane with two other board members (Jeff Lacey and Billy Murdock) and headed on a 7-day ministry trip to Ghana, West Africa. Upon their arrival, they were met by Dr. Badu Bediako, head of Revival Africa Ministries. Revival Africa Ministries is based in Accra, Ghana but the ministry oversees work not only in Accra but also in rural Ghana plus the countries of Togo and Benin. Dr. Badu has a heart for pastors and other church leaders who are literally on the front lines of what God is doing in this part of the world.

While in Ghana, the team held a 3-day pastor's conference. There were between 300 and 400 pastors/church leaders in attendance. The team was able to teach five to six times each day and still have time for one-on-one prayer ministry. Many of the attending pastors have never been to a conference like this but because of the generosity of a few faithful givers, we were able to pay for their travel, hotel and food expenses. Hopefully, the photos attached will convey what is hard to put into words!
