In September 2010, we held our 2nd pastor's conference in Ghana, West Africia. There were four team members on the trip including Martin Halbeg, Jeff Lacey, Jerry Willis and Ebi George. Ebi is a pastor friend from Bangalore, India. We were very excited to have Pastor Ebi join us. He is not only a passionate preacher/teacher, but he is also living proof that God's work can be done in a place not readily receptive to the Gospel. Ebi is a third generation pastor and between his grandfather, father and Ebi, they have planted several hundred churches around southern India. During the conference, Ebi shared valuable insights on church planting and pastoring.
Once again, Dr. Badu Bediako of Revival Africa Ministries was our Ghana host pastor. Badu and his team put a considerable amount of time and effort into planning and promoting the event. The conference was held in the "up country" in a small town called Bodada. The town is very near the border of Togo. Approximately 225 pastors attended the four-day conference.
We also held two evening crusades and approximately 150 locals gave their heart to Jesus. Thanks to all who gave so we could pay the lions share of the expenses for the pastors who attended the conference.
