Boys Orphanage
Mission:
Build the first floor (5,500 square feet) of a two-story building to accommodate up to 50 boys. The project included architechural drawings, clearing the land and construction of the facility. Pastor Krup and Victoria Gallapalli operate the home on a daily basis.
Overseer:
The overseeing organization for this project was Hope for the Hungry located in Belton, TX. Dan and Kandy Kirkley founded the organization in 1982 as a result of Christ's command to Feed My Sheep. Hope for the Hungry is an interdenominational ministry dedicated to helping children around the world and to supporting the missionaries who are called to serve in these areas. The organization currently ministers in 20 different countries.
Timeline:
Construction began on this project December 2004 and was completed December 2005.
