Battered Women's Shelter
Mission:
The vision for this project was to purchase an existing home near the Christian Missionary Alliance Church located in the heart of San Juan de Lurigancho. The home will be a shelter where abused women can live in safety while participating in Bible Studies, working in a local soup kitchen, and receiving training in the skills necessary to enable them to be productive in society. The home will house approximately 10 women and their children.
Overseer:
New Covenant Creation Ministries was founded in 1997. The vision of this ministry is to carry the presence and teachings of Jesus Christ to the world. The New Covenant team of evangelists, teachers and intercessors hold crusades and leadership conferences in the United States as well as abroad.
Timeline:
The home was purchased May 2006.
