Church Building in Kigali
Mission:
The vision for this project is to fund the construction of a new church building for the Gasyata GSCC in Kigali. This is a church plant from the mother church and has been in existence for approximately 12 years. They currently have 300 members and have outgrown their facility. Raphael Mahengeri is the pastor under the supervision of Pastor Simon Nziramakenga. The first phase will be to purchase the land where the current facility is located and then construct the new building.
Overseer:
Simon Nziramakenga, Sr. Pastor of Good Shepherd Community Church will oversee this project. Pastor Nziramakenga joined Campus Crusade for Christ in 1980 and served that ministry for 18 years. He started a Rwandese Christian Fellowship resulting in many refugees coming to Christ. He has been involved in planting 14 churches, (12 in Rwanda and two in the Congo), a Bible College, and a Primary School for many orphans of genocide and HIV Aids.
